In September 2026, I had the opportunity to work with XO on a recent photoshoot at one of my favorite studios in Chicago, and it felt amazing to be back in the studio doing what I love.

The concept for this session blended boudoir with a fetish-inspired aesthetic, incorporating elements of rope, leather cuffs, and expressive posing to create something a little darker and more artistic. I wanted to explore the textures, shadows, and details that make this style of photography so compelling, creating images that felt intimate, moody, and intentional.

XO was absolutely amazing to work with. XO understood the vision for the shoot, embraced the theme, and brought a natural confidence and presence to the session. Having a model who connects with the concept and contributes to the creative process makes such a difference, and she did an incredible job bringing everything together.

This shoot was especially meaningful to me because it was my first session in a while. Getting back into the studio, reconnecting with the creative process, and having the opportunity to experiment with a style I enjoy was a great reminder of why I love photography.

I'm really happy with how this session came together, and I'm grateful to XO for being such a wonderful part of it. I'd absolutely love to work with XO again and see what else we can create together in the future.

Sometimes, all it takes is the right concept, the right creative connection, and a camera in your hands to remind you how much you love what you do.
