Belle Amelie (NSFW)
Photoshoot
I am starting a new concept I learned from another photographer. With instagram becoming less and less friendly towards models and photographers I want to have a space that I control where I can post my own work. I will be creating blog posts for each shoot I do throughout the year. My plan is to catch up with the work I have done this past year so look for more work here in the months to come.
I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Belle on a photoshoot designed to focus on the softer side of lace and the harder side of Leather. Belle is an amazing traveling model and photographer who was nice enough to work with me in Central Illinois area. Her Instagram can be found here, and links to her other (Spicy) websites can be found here. Make sure to stop by and give her a follow.
I included some of my favorite photos from the shoot below. I always have a difficult time Culling (narrowing down) what the final photos will be. I use the star method by going through a series of photos one by one and staring the ones I like most. Once everything is rated I sort the list to the next highest rating and start the process over again. Never know how much I will end up with in the end.
I absolutely love the lighting and feel in the next photo. This was taken using natural window light and a vintage Takumar SMC 85mm f1.8 lens. I like the emotion and feel Belle gave in this shot!
These next few photographs are more focused on the “Leather” side of this portfolio. Both are were shot using studio lighting and shot in color. They were later transitioned to black and white then the color was added back selectively.
I would like to say thank you to Belle once again for working with me on these photos. It was amazing working with her to develop some ideas that I have had in my head for a while. I hope to work with her again in the future!
